Josh Kahn began his career in 2004 teaching Special Education in the NYC public school system as a classroom teacher, developing curriculum and writing IEPs for students with moderate to severe disabilities. He focuses on helping children with special needs thrive socially, academically, and vocationally.
In 2006, Josh graduated with his Masters of Science in Elementary Education through the NYC Teaching Fellows program. He has attended many professional development workshops on topics such as: positive behavior supports, functional behavior assessments, writing IEPs, autism, incorporating technology into the classroom, and assistive communication devices, which he incorporates into his work with children and families battling autism.
New to the Oregon area, Joshs practice is in Eugene, where he lives with his wife and their puppy Huxley.
